How do I submit artwork to apply and on a continuous basis after being accepted as a partner?

What types of art work are you looking for?
All types: Photography, Illustration, Graphic art, Digital design. You name it, if it’s good we want to see it, and chances are, so will our online buyers.
Why should I submit my art work to you?
Spooler’s Tymelss provides substantial benefits to artists:
- Spooler monitors social trends and feeds key topics to our artists providing inspiration for creating timeless works. For example, how will people in the year 3000 visualize this year? Spooler is working with engineers to automate the service to provide automatic, data-driven socially trending topics. See our examples page for examples of socially trending topics. In addition to this, we sell apparel through wholesale (similar products to Tymelss website products), its Tymelss website, and WeDesyn Mobile App allowing us to monitor trends through sales.
- Spooler provides additional income for freelance designers. We have a generous tiered revenue-sharing designer program. View the graphic on the Tymelss Overview page for details on our tiered revenue-sharing. Since we work with limited designers, we help ensure freelance designer have strong supplementary income on a non-exclusive basis.
- Spooler provides a unique opportunity for artists to drive social change. The clothes people wear are your canvas rather than an art studio. Thus, artists can create artwork that really sparks conversations and leads to tangible action relatively quickly. Artwork should be visibly signed by artists, giving your deserved credit. We ultimately want people to become familiar with your style and eventually follow you for updated designs on your specific category of interest.

What rights does the commission agreement give Spooler?
Our designer agreement (a contract signed after approval) gives Spooler the non-exclusive right to include your designs on Spooler products sold across our distribution channels. You retain all ownership of copyrights. You are free to license your work on your own to whomever you like, and when you do, we make nothing. We only get paid when we sell your designs on our web store, our wholesales channels, and through our mobile application.
Do you charge for your service?
No, we do not charge you anything to sell your work. We will require a $10 processing fee on top of your annual subscription in the near future to pay for the administrative costs associated with reviewing your work and processing your application. That cost is waived today, so apply now!
What do I get paid?
Designers will are paid on a tiered structure. They start with 20% of sales and can make up to 30%+ of sales on clothing sales with their designs. See the Tymelss Pricing Page for more detail.
What kind of money can I make?
The amount of money a designer can make depends on the design topic (political vs. sports?), design type (shirt vs. cap?), design quality, number of designs accepted, and the promotional efforts for the product.
For example, we may use your designs for a shirt (~$25), a sweatshirt (~$35), a cap (~$30), leggings (~$30), and socks (~15). In a given month, if we sold 200 shirts, 50 sweatshirts, 50 caps, 50 leggings, and 30 bundles of socks, on the basic (silver – 20% revenue-sharing) plan, you will have received $2,040 for that month! If you provide 5 designs a month that sell this well, you would average $122,400 / year non-exclusive to our platform with the most basic plan! Obviously, if you sell this well, we would bump you to at least our platinum plan (30% revenue-sharing), so you would actually receive $183,600. In reality, we realize that not all designs are hits, but this gives you an idea of how easy it is to receive real financial benefits for the talented artist. We intentionally limit the number of designers on our platform and we market new designs to help ensure the financial success of our designers.
Can you guarantee that my work, if accepted, will sell?
No, we cannot guarantee sales. But, we do promise that if we accept your work, it will be placed in front of our market and daily online buyers.
Can we personally order samples of our products?
Yes. Although not required, we always recommend our artists order samples of their products for quality control and to promote their artwork. Additionally, once your products are available on hdlvusa.com it’s always beneficial to notify your social followers, friends and art customers.
How long will it take for my Tymelss page to be ready?
Your Tymelss page launch schedule will differ according to what subscription level you purchased. Our Silver Package page launch schedule is 7-10 business days. Our Gold and Platinum Packages are typically between 5-7 business days.
How will we know when we have made sales?
When sales are generated, you will receive an email notification outlining your gross sales, commission, and the region your sales originated from. Attached is a screenshot of how the sales notification looks on mobile devices. See “Tymelss Designer Sales Screen Shot”.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The majority of our pricing are customized to each project. We utilize a value-driven pricing model as opposed to a traditional cost+ pricing strategy. This means that we are always focused on maximizing value, and utility to our clients. If we feel we cannot add value, we would rather pass on the project then close a deal just to make a profit
